Our Drone Videography Training services are designed for beginners, aspiring filmmakers, and young creatives who are eager to explore the exciting world of aerial cinematography. Through our Intro to Master Creative Trainingprogramme, delivered by Rai Rai Productions Youth in association with RaiView Sky Lens—the dedicated drone and aerial cinematography division of Rai Rai Productions Ltd's Film Department—we provide hands-on experience with professional drone equipment, helping students develop practical flying skills, creative confidence, and an understanding of how aerial perspectives can transform visual storytelling.
Our training journey began with our first video, Drone Training Footage, where we joined Dylan and Jude James during one of their first practical training sessions. Filmed over the beautiful landscapes of New Hall Valley, Plants Brook, and the new Temple construction site on Penns Lane in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, the video captures the excitement of learning to fly while demonstrating just how quickly beginners can gain confidence operating professional drone technology.
More recently, our latest film, Barton Marina – From Above and Below, continues that journey by showcasing footage captured by young trainee drone operator Hugo Robinson. Working alongside the RaiView Sky Lens team, Hugo successfully captured beautiful aerial views of the marina, waterfront, surrounding woodland, and Staffordshire countryside. His contribution demonstrates the remarkable progress that can be achieved through practical, guided training and highlights the creativity, technical ability, and confidence that young filmmakers can develop in a relatively short space of time.
